Community Activity

At E.E. Reed Construction, we are committed and involved with a variety of community activities and have been since our founding in 1977. Our employees participate in a mixture of philanthropic activities, including:

E.E. Reed volunteers and has employee participation in the 180-mile, MS 150 bike ride from Houston to Austin as a part of the Houston Builders team.

Each year, the company participates in this annual run/walk to support brain cancer research. E.E. Reed’s team, Jan’s Crusaders, pays tribute to former E.E. Reed employee, Jan Crews.

E.E. Reed employees volunteer throughout the year for this Fort Bend County cause. Lunches of Love provides nutritious lunches Monday-Friday during extended school holidays for children in need.

Each year, E.E. Reed Construction participates in the Houston Police Department’s Badges and Bears Program. The collected bears are distributed to the Houston Police and Fire Departments so that officers and firefighters can carry them in their patrol units, fire trucks and ambulances. The bears are used to comfort children who may have suffered a traumatic experience or been involved in a catastrophic situation.
