Sneak peek: Luxury Condo project in Upper Kirby to break ground next month
Houston, Texas, February 1, 2018
A luxury condominium project named after a high-end Italian furniture maker is set to break ground in March, according to a Feb. 1 press release.
Georgia-based developer Stolz Partners announced in the release that the company has closed on the 39,453-square-foot site at 2701 Steel St. where Giorgetti Houston will rise.
Giorgetti Houston is the 120-year-old furniture-maker’s first fully luxury-branded real estate project, per the release. The seven-story condominium will feature 32 units ranging from 2,700 square feet to 6,800-square-foot penthouses. Balconies will range from 500 square feet to 2,000 square feet. Plans also include incorporating Giorgetti-designed furniture in the lobby and common areas, as well as Giorgetti’s special line of kitchen and bathroom cabinets inside the units. The building will feature a contemporary glass, stucco and masonry exterior, inspired by Giorgetti’s origami-style buffet table.
E.E. Reed Construction is the general contractor on this project which is scheduled to be completed in late 2019.
