Entry Level Positions

Field experience is mandatory for successful performance in our single-source management system. Understanding the construction process from the field level will provide a strong foundation for future career growth. With this in mind, every entry level position begins working on a particular jobsite. Upon completion of this initial assignment, the candidate then progresses into either the project management or superintendent track.

Internship Programs

Our internship program gives college students hands-on access to the general contractor work environment. Interns participate in a wide variety of tasks, including general estimating, interacting with on-site trades, and assisting a project manager on a current project. Upon completion of an E.E. Reed internship, the student will have a better understanding of the general construction industry, and future E.E. Reed career expectations.

Career Paths

Project Management

E.E. Reed’s unique single-source management philosophy requires energetic individuals capable of performing a wide variety of tasks necessary to complete a construction project. This system of management gives the project manager a true sense of ownership in each project. With this ownership comes a greater level of responsibility for the project outcome.

Positions within project management include:

  • Senior Project Manager
  • Project Manager
  • Assistant Project Manager
Superintendent

Because of our wide range of product types, we are always looking for quality-minded superintendents who have a strong commitment to safety. Working with an E.E. Reed project manager, the superintendent manages coordination, scheduling, direction of self-performed and subcontract work, and quality control through the duration of construction.

Positions include:

  • Project Superintendent
  • Assistant Superintendent
